Inaugural Sale Includes Historic Racing Cars – CTS Auctions

CTS Auctions’ inaugural sale on 5th December in Sydney will include half a million dollars worth of important historic racing cars from the Sydney-based collection of Rob Tweedie.
Former Australian Super Touring ace Rob Tweedie is now a well known and fierce competitor at many historic racing events in Australia having raced for nearly 40 years, but his son Tom (www.tomtweedie.com) is arguably even fiercer. Such is Tom’s talent that, despite not having competed in karts from a young age like most up and coming stars, he won this year’s Australian National Formula 3 Championship outright by a considerable margin.
Tom is off to Europe next year to further his career and to help fund the move his father is kindly selling some of the superb and much loved historic racing cars. The cars from the collection to be sold at CTS Auctions December 5th event include:

Having seen both Tom and his father race, it is wonderful to have the opportunity to sell these cars for such a good cause. We wish Tom every success with his racing in Europe next year.”
